Audi will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations. The Audi Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 Factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the United Kingdom will start operations this year. Our power unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for chassis development and race operations.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is available at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).
In the Energy Recovery System (ERS) department, you will work across the department management team on the development and testing of key components that bring the power unit's performance to the racetrack and contribute to competitiveness in a highly competitive environment.
Your tasks
Support of the Energy Recovery System (ERS) department management as an interface function between various development departments and the workshop
Support in the planning, coordination and implementation of development projects in the area of ERS (premises and goal definition including monitoring)
Supporting the department management in budget planning for ERS development projects
Support in cross-departmental testing and deployment planning of the ERS components
Support and coordination of the component managers and the workshop in the assembly planning of the components
Participation in the optimization of development processes and methods
Analysis of technical data and preparation of reports on project progress
Support in compliance with quality and safety standards
Your profile
Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable course of study
Experience in motorsport or in the development of electric drive systems in the area of project management/project coordination
Development experience of electric drive systems for motorsport or in a similar environment
Excellent organizational skills and team spirit
Analytical thinking skills and a structured way of working
Passion for motorsport and innovative technologies as well as a high level of commitment
Fluent German or English skills as well as the willingness to learn basic knowledge of the other language are required
